That team was Screenhero. And the more we got to know them, the more we liked the cut of their jib.
So Screenhero is joining Slack. This is very good.
This is the plan:
- Over the coming months, we will be migrating all of Screenhero’s many features, along with many new ones, to Slack.
- During this time, Slack teams on the Standard or Plus Plan can use Screenhero for free to get a taste of what’s to come (magically create your account now, in fact. Why not?)
- Other than existing paid customers of Slack and invites sent by existing Screenhero users, new signups will be disabled while we concentrate our efforts on the integration.
- Once the integration is complete, Screenhero as a standalone service will be phased out with a generous notice period and transition plan. In the meantime, service will continue as normal, except you won’t have to pay anymore :)
Basically, the integrated Slack + Screenhero experience is going to be incredible. We are giddy with excitement about the possibilities and positive you will love it.
(And again, you can find out more and sign up your Standard or Plus Plan teams at slack.com/screenhero.)
